College Council
College Council represents the entire college community and includes representatives from faculty, administrative staff, support staff and students.
The College Council of Amit college of Nursing has the following functions and responsibilities:
- > To establish annual goals aligned with the strategic priorities of the institution.
- > To represent the college community and provide timely feedback on matters of institutional importance.
- > To participate in integrated institutional planning and periodic review of the mission and long-term goals of the college.
- > To recommend appointment, delegation, and promotion of faculty members and lecturers as per institutional policies.
- > To facilitate communication and involvement among all stakeholders of the institution.
- > To develop operating procedures for effective and timely decision-making.
- > To review the annual plans and goals of Academic Affairs, Student Services, and Administrative Services.
- > To suggest and review curriculum modifications in coordination with departments.
- > To recommend academic programs, textbooks, and reference materials.
- > To organize discussions and forums on important academic and administrative matters.
- > To promote scientific research activities and encourage the publication of research papers.
- > To recommend extracurricular and co-curricular activity plans for students.
- > To address matters related to students’ academic majors and welfare.
- > To assist in the dissemination and interpretation of institutional policies and procedures.
- > To review recommendations of the Budget Committee and make allocation decisions subject to approval of the competent authority.
